Wood make usage of water growing even stronger, use roots against earth to crush event strongest rocks. Without doubt metal tools are stronger same as efficency against fire.

Water is good extinguisher for fire, also make metal rusty. Silly idea to supply wood with water. Disappears while on earth.

Metal is very hard, perfect to cut some wood or dig hole in earth. Fire melt it, making it useless. Water cover by rust, decreasing efficiency.

Earth is good to stop the fire or flood water. Way weaker than wood roots, not even mention metal tools.
